How do you write?

Hello Screenwriters!!

The process of writing is different for each writer. There's no right or wrong way. Some writers need a specific time, as if they are clocking in, while others write as the ideas come.  Some need quiet, while other writers may write in a bustling coffee shop filled with people. Some writers like to wing it, while others need an outline.

A few years ago, I wrote on the bus to work with pen and paper. When I got home, I would take the pages and enter them into the computer, correcting mistakes as I went.

However now days I mainly write at my desktop using scripped.

I find, having and outline greatly helps the process, however I know some writers hate outlining.

So what about you, how do you write? What tools do you use, Final Draft? Movie magic? Celtex? Scripped? Do you need noise or quiet? Do you have a writing room, an office with a big, "Do not disturb sign on it?" Do you create an outline before you write?

What is your process?
